Fees and Medicare Rebates
Clear fees for therapy, NDIS psychology and assessments at Psychcare Clinic, Wahroonga. If you have questions about costs or rebates, we’re happy to talk them through.
Booking and cancellation policy
A deposit secures your booking:
- $95.00 for therapy sessions
- $295.00 for psychological assessments, such as ADHD, autism and cognitive assessments
Your deposit comes off your total appointment fee. Medicare rebates apply to eligible therapy sessions, but not to cancellation fees.
Notice period: please give at least 2 business days’ notice to change or cancel your appointment. With less notice, your deposit is kept as a cancellation fee.

About Medicare rebates
To claim a rebate, you’ll need a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral from your GP before your first session. Rebates are set by Medicare and usually change each July.

Psychological assessments
All assessments are completed by MJ Basilio, Principal Psychologist. Every assessment includes pre-assessment questionnaires, a clinical interview (in person or online), a feedback session and a written report. Medicare rebates for assessments are limited. If you’re under 25 and referred by a paediatrician or psychiatrist for possible autism, some sessions may attract a rebate. Please check with your specialist before booking.
