Hi, I’m David Hawkins.
I’ve worked as a clinical psychologist for more than 25 years, supporting children, adolescents and adults. My work brings together assessment, therapy and clinical supervision.
My philosophy: After decades in public and private settings, I believe in evidence-based care that respects each person’s own journey.
David runs his own independent private practice from Psychcare Clinic’s shared consulting rooms in Wahroonga. He manages his own bookings, fees and client care.

Board Approved supervision for psychologists at different career stages, including those working towards registration or clinical endorsement.
Experience and qualifications
I’ve worked in public mental health, private practice and psychiatric hospitals.
I’ve also worked in Catholic Education, and taught at the University of Sydney and Western Sydney University.
